Why are Comets unique? Comets are unique in many ways. They move in an oval path unlike other object. Comet can change while their 100year travel. The comet becomes icy as it goes away from the sun and melts when it gets closer to the sun. Another unique thing about the comets is that they have a beautiful tail, which is caused by the melt down. A different unique thing about our galaxy is that we have a planet where there is life. No other known planet has life like earth. Also this planet has water and oxygen. No other planet has those things. Our planet also has another thing that is unique. Earth has mild weather. It is not cold and not warm. No other planet has such mild weather.
